Ram Gopal Varma's "Killing Veerappan" shooting is started

Hyderabad, June- 18, 2015:-- Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma has revealed that he is now working on a film "Killing Veerappan", a true story based on sandalwood smuggler Veerappan.

Varma took to twitter to share images of the film.

The Kannada movie stars Shiva Rajkumar, who will play the central role of the officer who kills Veerappan and Sandeep, an aspiring youth from National School of Drama was selected to play the role of the Sandalwood smuggler.

RGV also said, "Killing Veerappan is not the story of Veerappan but it's going to be the story of the man who killed Veerappan. Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar will play the man, who killed him. It's ironic that Shiva's father, the late legendary actor Rajkumar was kidnapped by Veerappan. So here's a case of the real life son taking a reel life revenge on a real life villain. Actresses Yanga Shetty and Parul Yadav also star in the film.
